A Japan-only pro-wrestling game with a roster built around WCW stars and generic versions of Japanese promotions, for players who read Japanese.

Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 is the second game in the Virtual Pro Wrestling series, a sequel to the 1996 PlayStation original, developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment and AKI Corporation and published by Asmik Ace Entertainment. It came out only in Japan, on December 19, 1997, and it is the Japanese counterpart to WCW vs. nWo: World Tour.

The roster features World Championship Wrestling wrestlers alongside generic renditions of wrestlers from major Japanese promotions such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Before you buy

This is the Japanese cartridge and the only release. Loose copies sit above the median for the Japan-only library and well above the median for 1997 releases, and the fake risk is low. A complete copy costs noticeably more than the loose price, and sealed copies more again.
