Sega's charming two-player Mickey and Donald platformer, a little above the middle on price.
World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck is a platform game that Sega developed and published, part of its Illusion series of Mickey Mouse games. It came out in Japan on 18 December 1992, in North America on 17 December and in Europe on 19 December. It supports two players.
Mean Machines called it a fairly easy but veritable treat of a platform game, with great sprites and incredible animation, while Die Hard GameFan put it among the best two-player games ever made. GamesRadar later ranked it 22nd on its list of the best Genesis and Mega Drive games of all time.

Before you buy
Among US carts it sits above the middle. The European cart usually costs much less than the US one, and the Japanese loose cart usually costs a bit less while a complete Japanese copy costs more; it has a different cartridge shape. There are cardboard-box and Sega Gold Collection copies priced separately, so check which a listing is. For a pricier copy, ask for a photo of the board and compare it with the board listed on this page.
