A competent but uninspired cartoon platformer, and a very cheap US cart.

Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble is a Looney Tunes platformer built on pre-rendered 3D graphics. Atod, Probe Entertainment and Climax developed it, and Sega published it in North America in August 1996 and in Europe on 5 September 1996. Tec Toy released it in Brazil in October 1996. The Genesis game borrows from cartoons such as Bully for Bugs and Knighty Knight Bugs, and a bonus level reached by collecting Bonus Stars appears only in the Genesis version of the game.

Next Generation called it another competent but uninspired side-scroller, and the Genesis version drew mediocre reviews overall.

Before you buy

Among US carts it is one of the cheapest, well below the middle. The European cart usually costs far more than the US one, both loose and complete, so the US cart is the one to look for. A cardboard-box edition is priced separately from the plastic-case copy.
