A space-age bowling game that is more novelty than classic, and priced around the middle of the library.
Milo's Astro Lanes is a bowling game set in intergalactic alleys. Player 1 developed it, Crave Entertainment published it in North America in November 1998, and it reached Europe in July 1999. Next Generation's September 1998 preview was warm: if Crave wanted to put a space-themed bowling game on the N64, the magazine wasn't going to argue, and it looked pretty fun.
Capcom planned a Japanese release under the title Space Bowler Milo for December 1999, but it did not go ahead.

“the barefaced truth is that Milo's just wasn't a very good idea in the first place. Regardless of whether it's set in space or not, bowling, as a console game, is yawnsome.”

Before you buy
The US cartridge sits around the library median and the fake risk is low. The game saves to a Controller Pak, not to the cartridge, so budget for one; the Rumble Pak is optional. PAL copies cost much more than US ones, and the gap is widest for complete copies, so the US release is the cheaper route.
