A rough conversion of Midway's arcade racer that IGN found dated and slow.
Off Road Challenge began as a Midway arcade game in 1997. The N64 conversion was developed by Avalanche Software, published by Midway in North America in June 1998 and by GT Interactive in Europe, and adds unlockable tracks and a circuit mode.
IGN's review of the N64 version was harsh, calling the graphics dated, the textures muddy, the frame rate low and the menus slow.
