A licensed ten-pin bowling game that even its reviewers struggled to get excited about.
Brunswick Circuit Pro Bowling reached the Nintendo 64 in North America in December 1999, after Windows and PlayStation versions in 1998. Point of View developed the N64 version and THQ published it; the other versions came from a different developer, Adrenalin Entertainment. The N64 game was shown at E3 1999.
It features real professional bowlers, including Mark Roth, Randy Pedersen and Mike Miller. N64 Gamer's reviewers, Arthur Adam and Narayan, found little to like for anyone but devotees of bowling and suggested the real players were the only thing likely to excite a few enthusiasts.
Before you buy
Fake risk is low. The US cartridge is the one to look for. It sits a little above the library's median price, and a complete copy costs well over twice what a loose cart does.
