A snack-mascot platformer that is an ordinary Genesis curiosity and a little pricier than most US carts.

This is the Genesis version of Chester Cheetah: Too Cool to Fool, a platformer starring Chester Cheetah, the mascot of Frito-Lay's Cheetos snacks. System Vision is credited as developer and Kaneko as publisher, and it came out in North America in January 1993. Mean Machines Sega described the Mega Drive game as a conversion of the Super NES game.

What the press said at the time

“A poor platformer with slow gameplay and a lack of original and constructive ideas. Look at Rocket Knight Adventures for a decent alternative. —”

— Sega Pro, September 1994

Before you buy

Among US carts it sits above the middle. A complete copy usually costs well above a loose cart. A complete US copy means the case, cartridge and manual.
