The last of Konami's International Superstar Soccer games on the N64, and a price that sits above most N64 carts.
This is the Nintendo 64 version of International Superstar Soccer 2000, developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka. It is the second game in the N64 Perfect Striker series, and the last of Konami's International Superstar Soccer games on the console. The Japanese release, Jikkyō J-League 1999: Perfect Striker 2, came out on July 29, 1999, a year before North America got the game in August 2000, with Europe following in October 2000.
Time Extension later placed it on its list of the best Nintendo 64 games of all time. It is a game for soccer fans who want the series' final N64 entry.
How it was made
Developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka and published by Konami.
Before you buy
The US cartridge sits well above the library median and above the typical 2000 release, so the fake risk is medium: ask for a photo of the board, which is the reliable test, because a cart that boots proves nothing. The game saves to a Controller Pak, not to the cartridge, so budget for one. PAL copies cost far less than US ones, loose and complete, which makes the European release the economical way in. The Japanese release is a separate cartridge under a different title.
