A rough wrestling game that drew mixed reviews, cheap enough to own for the ECW license alone.
ECW Hardcore Revolution is a wrestling game based on Extreme Championship Wrestling, developed by Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City and published by Acclaim Entertainment. The N64 cartridge came out in North America in February 2000, with PAL regions following in March 2000. It was also released on PlayStation, Game Boy Color and Dreamcast.
The N64 version drew mixed reviews. Next Generation's Daniel Erickson reacted with open hostility, while another reviewer judged it much like Acclaim's earlier WWF Attitude and suggested sticking with that game or WWF WrestleMania 2000 unless you are a big ECW fan.

“Hardcore Revolution is basically Attitude after reconstructive surgery, which would have been great had it been another WWF title - but ECW ain’t WWF.”
“Hardcore Revolution is really nothing more than WWF Attitude dressed up in ECW tights. If you've played all the Acclaim wrestling titles and were hoping for something significantly improved, then you’re fat out of luck.”

How the Nintendo 64 version differs
Aggregated reviews rated the N64 and PlayStation versions mixed, better than the Dreamcast and Game Boy Color versions.

Before you buy
Fake risk is low. The game saves to a Controller Pak, not to the cartridge, so budget for one. Loose copies sit below the library's median price, and a complete copy costs several times the loose price. PAL copies cost about the same loose and more complete. The Rumble Pak is optional.
