About Astérix and the Power of the Gods

Emperor Caesar's forces have stolen the legendary shield of Vercingetorix and it is Asterix and Obelix's mission to return it to the Gaulish village. A Core Design Asterix platformer that came out only in Europe, and a European cart that sits above the middle of its group.

Asterix and the Power of the Gods is a platform game for the Mega Drive based on the Asterix comic series, most notably Asterix and the Chieftain's Shield. Core Design developed it and Sega published it in Europe on 21 April 1995. Simon Phipps is credited as designer and Nathan McCree as composer.

It came out only in Europe, so the European cart is the one to look for.
