A late N64 football game from EA that costs very little today.
Madden NFL 2001 is EA Tiburon's football game, published by EA Sports and released for the N64 in North America in September 2000. This version includes the 35 Great Games feature, which unlocks extra teams and stadiums. Metacritic described reviews of the N64 version as generally favorable, and GamePro's reviewer said that for hardcore N64 football fans it was all they needed.
Progress is saved to a Controller Pak rather than to the cartridge.

Before you buy
This is the North American cartridge, and the game came out only in North America. Loose copies are among the cheapest in the library, and a complete copy costs several times a loose cartridge. Budget for a Controller Pak, which the game requires for saving; the Expansion Pak and Rumble Pak are optional. Fake risk is low.
